New Children’s Books
These children’s books for the South Lorain Branch Library’s Spanish and Spanish/English collections were purchased with money from The Rotarian Gerald Prucha Fund 2011.
The Fund was set up through a bequest by the late Rotarian Gerald Prucha to be used by the Rotary Club of Lorain. The bequest was to be used for three specific areas of interest. One of those interests was to acquire books for the Lorain Library.
Through the generosity of the late Mr. Prucha and the Rotary Club of Lorain, these are some of the books now available at the South Lorain Branch Library:
Oso en la ciudad /Bear About Town by Stella Blackstone (Ages 1 to 3)
Parents need to know that Bear’s daily walks to town are described in rhyme, and emphasize days of the week. Varied scenes are illustrated in bold colors that draw attention. Children can follow Bear’s path.
Buenas Noches, Luna/ Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown (Ages 2 to 5)
