2) Listen to My Trumpet! by Mo Willems
Ages 4 to 8
Elephant and Piggie are at it again … this time with Piggie and her new trumpet. Piggie shows Gerald how well she can play the trumpet, as Gerald listens, cringing because Piggie does not seem to play so well and he doesn’t want to hurt her feelings. Gerald thinks of some nice things to say to Piggie but his comments aren’t enough for her. Once again we see how humorous the friendship of Gerald and Piggie really is.
