The Friends of the Columbia Library, Inc.
The Friends of the Columbia Library, Inc. is a non-profit organization of area residents. The organization''s purpose is to maintain an association of persons interested in books and libraries; to support the mission and goals of the Lorain Public Library System as determined by the Lorain Public Library System''s Board of Trustees; to focus public attention on library services, facilities, and needs of the Lorain Public Library System; and to raise funds and influence the gifts of books, magazines, desirable collections, endowments, scholarships, and bequests to the Library through ways approved by the Trustees.
